The Longest Night: A Worship Service for the Weary.
“Bring your grief, your weariness, your fatigue. May this quiet service be a place to reflect and
draw near to God.” On the longest night of the year, Thursday Dec. 21, we invite all who are
weary to gather in the Old Chapel at 7 p.m. for our Longest Night service. With the use of
candles, poetry and reflections, quiet music and times of meditation, this space and time can be a
holy one for connection and healing. All are invited, and especially those experiencing a loss,
depression, or weariness this season. Thank you to the Mental Health team and Richard Miller
for putting together this special service.
