Luminaria Night

HELP LIGHT UP BETHLEHEM! Once again this year, the Social Action committee will be participating in Luminaria Night in the City of Bethlehem. The date is Saturday, December 11th, and proceeds benefit New Bethany Ministries, one of our Social Action partners. We meet at the Church Office (73 W. Church St.) at 4:30 p.m., weather permitting; we prepare and light luminarias (paper bags, weighted with sand, and with a small tea light candle inside) that are placed around our Church and Main Street corner. Since almost all of this activity takes place outside, this is a great project even during a pandemic. And the effect of all those luminarias alight is lovely!
