December is here with all of the Christmas and Moravian traditions to welcome the Christ Child. But soon it will be January. We are inviting you to participate in a Lebenslauf writing workshop via Zoom, which will be given in the opening weeks of January.

The first gathering, Wednesday, January 12, 2022, 7:00 p.m. will be an orientation in a large group followed by 3 smaller group** sessions with trained leaders from our congregation. The 3 small groups will allow you to begin writing your personal Lebenslauf. Each group will set its own meeting times for small group sessions. These meetings will be confidential, sharing your progress to get you started.

The actual writing of your memoir will take place between sessions. The groups provide for listening and reflecting. They offer an opportunity for all to speak who wish to contribute. It will allow all of us a prayerful “walk” with God and will allow us to create an awareness of God’s presence in our lives as well as give us an opportunity to communicate to our family and friends the events and people who have shaped our lives in our journey.

In the final meeting, Wednesday, February 9^th, 7:00 p.m. we will all meet together to share what we learned through the work, and what it was like to share your story in a small group.
