Benefit Dinner for Emergency Shelter
On Friday, October 11th, come enjoy delicious Korean food and help support the amazing ministry of the Bethlehem Emergency Shelter (BES) starting soon in Bethlehem. Come anytime between 5:30 – 7 p.m. to the Christian Education building, lower level, and enjoy the company and delicious food prepared by our own Korean Moravian ministry of Central. The food will be prepared mild, with the option of adding your own spice. They also will share music and photos from Korea and there will be a chance to also learn more about the Emergency Shelter, which opens on November 1st in Christ UCC, and how you can join other Central volunteers! Dinner is $15/person and there are a limited number of seats available. Please email or call the church office to reserve your spot. Please pay at the dinner.
Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering (BES) is a faith-based partnership that provides care and hospitality for the homeless in our community, last year providing 10,000 bed nights to an average of 62 guests per night, with dinner and showers as well.
