Care for Creation
The Care for Creation Committee is sponsoring two events, highlighting issues of climate and the environment in the City of Bethlehem. We hope many congregation members (and friends) will join us!
Tuesday evening, September 3rd, 7 p.m. in Nitschmann Hall: Chair Lynn Rothman and representatives of the Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) of the City of Bethlehem will discuss the origin, mission and current activities of the EAC and discuss ways community members can be involved.
Sunday morning, October 6, 10 a.m. in Nitschmann Hall: William Reynolds, member of Bethlehem’s City Council, will discuss the City’s Climate Action Plan. First introduced by City Council in 2017, Mr. Reynolds will provide an update on the progress that has been made.
