Sincere Condolences
We extend our sincere condolences and resurrection hope to the family and friends of Sister Emma Williams who entered the more immediate presence of her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 14, 2022. She was 81 years old. We pray very specially for her sons, Allen in Bethlehem, PA and Jonathan in Loxahatchee, Florida. Sister Emma joined Central Moravian Church in 2007. Her husband of 48 years, The Rev. Gwyned Williams, passed away in 2011.
Emma sang in the choir, helped with the Busy Workers Society, was a director of the Moravian Museum, and part of the board of directors for Moravian King’s Daughters Home. She was also a member of the Nazareth Moravian Historical Society and sang in the Bach Choir.
A viewing for Sister Emma will be held on Friday, February 18, at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a memorial service in the Old Chapel at noon. Everyone is invited to both the interment at Nisky Hill at about 12:45 p.m. and a luncheon in the Christian Education building, Nitschmann Hall around the same time.
