Putz News
During the Advent and Christmas season, we are grateful for our faithful Putz volunteers who make it possible for us to tell the story of Jesus’ birth to our own members and to many visitors from the larger community. This year, the Virtual Putz from 2020 will still be available on Central’s website and we are excited to offer an in-person Putz once again. Work on putting the Putz together begins with Moss Gathering on
November 7 after the 11 a.m. service. Putz Construction begins on Saturday, Nov. 13th and continues as needed through Sunday, Nov. 21st. The Putz will officially open on November 26th, the Friday after Thanksgiving and will be open Fridays, 1-7 p.m., Saturdays, 10 a.m.
to 8 p.m. and Sundays, 1-5 p.m. each weekend until Christmas. During the week before Christmas, December 20-23, the Putz will be open 4-8 p.m. We will need volunteers to help construct and staff the Putz. To keep everyone safe, we are asking all visitors to the Putz to wear face masks and for volunteers to wear masks and be vaccinated.
